Who we are

At Wags we are a mother, daughter team ( Angie & Anna ) and have worked professionally together for over 7 years, our aim is to provide the very best service for everyone that visits us, we pride ourselves on giving the very best that we can, and being able to help as many people as possible, our family run business has been running since 1990 and we continue to grow our experience and knowledge everyday, we are a happy, friendly and positive team, and a judgement free zone we are always keen to get the kettle on and start talking to everyone that comes through our doors.

Our main aim is to help dog parents achieve their goals so they can live confidently and happily, working together as a team.

Billie ( Newfoundland )
Angie adopted Billie from Margaret Green Animal Rescue in 2021, since being re homed with Angie Billie has become the happiest most loving dog, always ready to have a cuddle and a pamper, Billie lives a new life of love, care and lots of adventures, she spends her days having a good sleep, along with many adventures and has now become a very strong swimmer and loves the water! She also loves agility which we have to say she is great at! It took her no time to settle in, she is the perfect couch potato!

Maiva ( rottie x )
Anna adopted Maiva back in 2020 from Margaret Green Animal Rescue, when maiva came to Anna it became very clear straight away she was suffering from extreme fear aggression towards other dogs and people, she also had little to no training, nearly 3 years later Maiva is now very social with other dogs and people and is the boss of wags! She even won best rescue in the AFN dog show! And has been attending agility, hoppers, gun-dog training, hydrotherapy and advanced obedience, training with maiva continues but she is doing incredibly well!

What we do

At wags we aim to provide the very best care to your dog, we provide a safe and nurturing environment built for all dogs of different life stages with an array of enrichment, activities and walks, we spent 5 years planning and 6 months building to be able to provide a huge amount of recourse's for your dogs, for them to explore, learn and grow while they are here with us.
